Extreme Championship MMA has yet another action packed weekend lined up with two exciting cards that are sure to please. The weekend festivities kicks off with High Noon live from Paddy O'Malleys Bar in St. Petersburg. The event features 10 fury filled matchups that are sure to spark your sense of whoopass. From the opening bout to the main event this one should be a crowd pleaser packed tight in the small venue that will be screaming pain!
Note worthy matchups on this card include
Mike Remington v Che Lu
Remington is a former ECM Bantamweight Champion looking to rebound from his disappointing title loss to Sing Ali. Like Ali Che Lu is a debuting talent looking to upset the wounded superstar. This one smells of upset but personally I’d look for Remington to rebound and claim victory over the new Vietnam talent Che Lu.
Gaius Alexander v Cyril McCormack
This main event matchup pits 4-2 Cyril McCormack against the undefeated young Italian Gaiuse Alexander. McCormack enters the matchup as the more experienced fighter and is predicted to win this battle. The Italian underdog has looked good thus far but many people claim he has yet to face a fighter on the level of Cyril. Look for anything to happen in this one!
The weekend will close in strong fashion as Extreme Championship MMA has another predicted record setting card on the way. Many predict the Borga Vs Manne card to top the charts in all of Russia for show rating. Set to take place in the famed Hard Knocks arena this one should be packed out with a record setting crowd for ECM and have fans talking for some time.
The card is filled with talent from the opening bout to the historic main event everyone has been waiting for. Expect nothing but the best from this one and I wouldn’t miss it for the world!
Shogun Gracie v Jackie Chan
The talented Shogun Gracie will make his return to action following a heartbreaking title loss to the renown Per Manne. Gracie is set to fight the experienced and talented Jackie Chan in a fight that could heighten either fighter’s career. Chan a veteran fighter making his ECM debut won his last Chowprayer matchup and enters this bout somewhat of a favorite. The fan pleaser Gracie however is not to be underestimated so look for a classic bout.
Fuad Aliyev v Ivan Crushinski
This heavyweight bout pits two fighters with good records and a strong desire to win against one another. Both fighters like to brawl so expect a classic standup battle from start to finish. Either one of these guys could KO the other, both are looking to further their careers in victory so this match up should deliver. Both fighters need to win if they are to continue their climb to the top of the heavyweight division and a loss for either one of them can and will set them back.
Jabuba Mbele v Darth Ottesen
Mbele enters this matchup unbeaten (3-0) while Ottensen has only suffered a single defeat to the talented Eskimo. This is a key matchup in the 185 division and should provide for plenty excitement. Many believe the Swedish Purple belt Ottensen will take the victory while Mbele ensures us this will not happen! Keep an eye out for this one!
Ricardo Morientes v Joona Eskimo
Two talented and popular fighters will face off in our co-main event in what has all the elements to be a real crowd pleaser. Morientes is 5-1 having won his last 4 fights while Eskimo is undefeated with a record of 3-0. The Finish Mau Thai expect Eskimo enters the match up less experienced but with a skill set that many believe Morientes cannot match. Whatever the outcome however will surely launch either superstar near a title!
Per Manne v Ivan Borga
Words can’t describe the importance of this match up. Duel title holder Per Manne faces his toughest battle yet against the knock out artist Ivan Borga. While Manne stands as ECM’s brightest star thus far in his career Ivan has destroyed any fighter that has came before him. Borga has stated many times over that the talented Manne will not make it out of the Hard Knocks awake while Manne has been rather silent up to this point. Some critics has focused on Mannes record and the fact he has only one victory that did not go to the cards. Some have publicly stated they believe Manne is more hype then thunder so this match up could stand to test this theory! While the outcome is unclear what remains true is the fact that the winner will move on to face Russias most dominant fighter……..Alex Fridman!
